To raise awareness of what people should expect from life and work in the UK, and where to get support if they think they are being exploited, the South Yorkshire Modern Slavery Partnership have develop a number of posters in various languages available to download from our Training & Resources page.
Developed in partnership with Staffline and supported by the Gangmasters and Labour Abuse Authority, the posters outline what the minimum wage in the UK is, entitlements around holiday leave and advice on how much rent and travel cost on average.
Posters are available to download in: English, Albanian, Latvian, Polish, Romanian and Slovak.
SYMSP are encouraging partner organisations to use the resources to raise awareness with employees, clients looking to find work and people they believe to be at-risk from exploitation.
